Purpose

The dealer product can be added by the retail station users/dealers (if allowed to) in the dealer products module, admin will have the option to convert the dealer products to generic product. These converted products will be listed in the generic products. Admin will be able to view the generic products in the list and also add new/edit existing products as well.

Navigation Path

Path: Requests & Approvals > Generic Products

Listing Screen

View list of all the Generic Products that were previously added by the Administrator and Dealers. Admin will have an option to add and update the Generic Products from the list. Admin will be able to search the Generic Products using the text search filter option this is provided in the list.

Text Search Filter: Admin can search from the list using the text inputs provided below.

Option to Conditional search, refresh, export

Conditional Search/Filter: User will be able to search using below pop-up

  • Admin will be able to search conditionally i.e. the search must satisfy the conditions “Any” or “All” based on the selection
  • Multiple Field conditions can be added by clicking on “+” Button
  • Field conditions can be removed by clicking on “-” Button
  • Admin will have the option to select which field the input data needs to be compared and  searched upon
  • Criteria needs to be set to compared with inputted data text input. List of Criteria are mentioned below:
  • Text area will be provided to enter the data to compare and search in the listing.

Export

  • Admin will have the option to export data in excel and PDF format
  • Admin can either select the columns  or all the columns based on the need
  • Admin can either export the current page records or all the record

Add New: To add generic products, click on the “Add New” button.

View Generic Product Requests

Admin can view the details of Generic Product Requests that was requested by the internal users. Admin can view the following info

  • Summary: It consists of the Generic Product Request Details
  • View Notes (if available): Option to add notes by clicking on Add notes or Reminders button
  • Add Notes: Notes can be added by adding “Remark” and uploading remark Documents.
  • Add Reminders: Reminder Notes can be added by adding “Remark”, Remind Date and uploading remark Documents
  • Activities: Admin can view the recent activities of the Generic Product Request Details

Add New/Edit Existing Generic Product Form

  • Admin will be able to add new Generic Product and edit the existing Generic Product from this page
  • Admin needs to Generic product info and other related details to add a Generic Product.

Fields available in the Add/Edit Form

  • Name of the product (Required): Enter the name of the generic product.
  • Product Short Name (Required): Enter the short name of the product.
  • Product Barcode (Required): Enter Product Barcode or generate the product barcode automatically.
  • Status (Required): Change the status of the product as active (to activate the product) or Inactive (to keep the product inactive).
  • Description: Enter the description of the product in the text area.
  • Specifications: Enter the specification of the product in the text area.
  • Product categories (Required): Select multiple categories of the product.
  • Upload product images: Upload images of the product (Upload png, jpg, jpeg, jpe of 1024(height) x 930(width) for best resolution.).

Admin can save the product by submitting the form or can discard the form.

On Submission, the new product will be listed on the listing page and the existing product will be edited.
