Purpose

SMS will be sent from the system for various events that occur such as sending OTP when the user forgets the password. These SMS will have specific content that needs to be editable. Admin will be provided with SMS templates so that the content of the SMS can be edited.

Navigation Path

Path: Configurations > SMS Templates

Listing Screen

View list of all the SMS Templates that are pre-defined in the system. Admin will have an option to update the template. Admin will be able to search the SMS Templates using the text search filter option this is provided in the list.

Text Search Filter: Admin can search from the list using the text inputs provided below

Option to Conditional search, refresh

Conditional Search/Filter: User will be able to search using below pop-up.

  • Admin will be able to search conditionally i.e. the search must satisfy the conditions “Any” or “All” based on the selection
  • Multiple Field conditions can be added by clicking on “+” Button
  • Field conditions can be removed by clicking on “-” Button
  • Admin will have the option to select which field the input data needs to compare and  searched upon
  • Criteria needs to be set to compared with inputted data text input. List of Criteria are mentioned below:

Export

  • Admin will have the option to export data in excel and PDF format
  • Admin can either select the columns  or all the columns based on the need
  • Admin can either export the current page records or all the record

Edit Template: To edit the templates, click on the Title of the SMS in the listing.

  • Admin will be able to edit the SMS Template from this page
  • Admin needs to fill the Template info and other related information to edit an SMS Template.

Fields available in the Edit Form

  • Title Required (Required): Admin can enter the title of SMS template
  • Code (Required): The code of the template will be predefined and not be editable
  • Template (Required): Admin need to enter the text that will be send to customer when any request is send to the system to pass the information to the customer.
  • Language: Admin can send in which language the SMS will be sent to the customer.
  • Status (Required): Admin can change the status of the SMS as “Active” and “In-active”. If the template is In-active, SMS template will not be used while sending the SMS. If the template is “Active”, template will be active to send SMS.
  • SMS Variables: SMS variables can be used in the SMS templates for send a variable data such as OTP. These variables will be predefined and cannot be changed by the Admin.

Before Submission, admin will have option to go to “Next” Page to Edit SMS Templates, go to “listing” or “Stay” on the same page.

Admin can save the SMS template by submitting the form or can discard the form.

On Submission, the SMS will be edited.
